Dwight Ramos included in latest NBA promo video

MANILA, Philippines – Gilas Pilipinas gunner Dwight Ramos was featured in the NBA’s “Everyone’s Game” tip-off campaign. 

Ramos, who is playing for the Levanga Hokkaido in the Japan B.League, appeared in NBA Philippines’ one-minute-and-18-second video released on October 23. 

The guard was featured along with NBA stars Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Joel Embiid, Zach Lavine, Jayson Tatum, De’Aaron Fox and Bradley Beal. 

Ramos last played for Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup back in September, averaging 13.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in five games.

He helped the Philippines clinch a spot in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament. 

The video was released in time for the opening of the 2023-24 NBA season.

On opening day, reigning champions Denver Nuggets defeated the LA Lakers, 119-107, while the new-look Phoenix Suns also defeated the Golden State Warriors, 108-104.
