Easterlies bring isolated rains in Metro Manila, rest of PH
THE easterlies – winds from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean and carry warm and humid weather – will bring isolated downpours and thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Monday.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon locally known as «amihan» continues to weaken and is affecting extreme Northern Luzon particularly Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela, weather specialist Robert Badrina said.
