Executive order that modified tariff rates for electric vehicles up for review

THE executive order that modified the tariff rates for Electric Vehicles (EVs) will be up for review next week, and stakeholders are hopeful that it will be expanded to include e-motorcycles in the list of vehicles to be given tax breaks.

EO No. 12 was uploaded in the Official Gazette on January 19, 2023. It will be up for mandatory review beginning February 21, 2024, one year after it took effect.
