Fair weather on Good Friday — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines: Except for isolated heavy rains or thunderstorms, the country will experience generally fair weather today, Good Friday, the state-run weather agency said.
Weather specialist Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned, however, that hotter temperatures are expected, especially at noon until mid-afternoon due to the easterlies, humid and warm winds coming from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean.
The Pagasa forecaster also said they have not monitored any tropical cyclone or low pressure area (LPA) inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in the coming days.
In particular, the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms are affecting Metro Manila and the rest of the country where partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms could prevail within 24 hours, the state weather bureau said.
