House bill revoking SMNI franchise approved on 3rd reading

MANILA, Philippines: The House of Representatives on Wednesday approved on third and final reading the bill that seeks to revoke the legislative franchise of Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).

The measure, House Bill 9710, hurdled third and final reading with 284 lawmakers voting for its passage. Four voted in the negative and four abstained.
