Marcos invites Pinoys to Malacañang this Christmas
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 22) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has invited the public to visit Malacañang as he opened the Palace grounds for the Christmas season.
Marcos announced this in a video posted on his Facebook account on Friday, where he also greeted Filipinos a merry Christmas.
“Open house po kami ngayon. Habang may Simbang Gabi open house po ang Palasyo. Puntahan po niyo kami, bisita kayo,” he urged Filipinos.
[Translation: We are open house while we have Misa de Gallo. Come visit us, be our guests.]
The president said the Palace has also prepared food for the visitors, including some food usually served during the holidays such as bibingka and puto bumbong.
The Palace’s Kalayaan grounds has also carnival rides and games for the public.
