MCC Pamaskong Handog chess set in Starmall Shaw

MANILA, Philippines — The stage is set for the staging of the MCC Pamaskong Handog Standard Training Games on Dec. 9-10 at the Starmall Edsa Shaw in Mandaluyong City.

Up for grabs in the two-day event is a total pot worth P25,000 with the champion pocketing the top purse of P5,000 plus a trophy and gold medal. The cash prizes are broken down to 10 places. Consolation award of P750 each will be given to the seven top performers in the following categories: Juniors (male/female); Kiddies – 12 and 8 year old and below; Provisional Adulthood (21-39 years old); Adult (40-59 year old); and Seniors.

Deadline for registration is Dec. 7 and must be done online. Free MCC TS will be given away to those who have joined at least three legs of the said event. All winners will be awarded medals courtesy of Milo.
