Over 2K pass midwives' licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 2,800 out of 4,119 examinees or 67.98 percent passed the November 2023 Midwife Licensure Examination.

Janelle Toledo Fauni, from Cavite State University topped the examination with 91.65 percent rating.

University of the Northern Philippines-Vigan ranked first among the top performing schools, with a 100 percent passing rate.

Below are the top 10 examinees:

1. Janelle Toledo Fauni, Cavite State University, 91.65 percent;

2. Mary Jane Sayson Espiso, Cavite State University, 91.55 percent;

3 Lerah Donor Dalid, Misamis University-Ozamis City, 91.30 percent

4. Rona Fe Magadan Cepris, University of the Philippines Schol of Health and Sciences-Leyte, 91.05 percent;

Charlin Dua Montilla, Jose Rizal Memorial State University, 91.05 percent;

5. Maricel Camarillo Loberiano, University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences-Leyte, 90.95 percent;

6. Camille Quindipan Cabaya, Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College-Candon, 90.90 percent;

7. Rey Mark Cabacungan Florendo, University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences-Leyte, 90.75 percent;

The exam was administered on November 5 and 6 in testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga and Kidapawan,
