Panelo decries Remulla's change of heart on ICC probe

Former presidential chief legal counsel Salvador Panelo on Monday decried Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla's statement that he will not stop the International Criminal Court from conducting an investigation of the deadly war on drugs if it will follow legal procedures.

«Our legal procedures precisely tell us that the government is duty bound to enforce the law and to prosecute violators,» Panelo said.
