Papin named acting PCSO board member
PRESIDENT Marcos Jr. has appointed former Camarines Sur vice governor and singer Imelda Papin as acting member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The President administered the oath of office of Papin, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said in a Facebook post.
Before joining politics in 1995, Papin popularized songs such as ‘’Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig’’ and ‘’Bakit (Kung Liligaya Ka sa Piling ng Iba).”
In 1995, she ran for governor of Camarines Sur but lost.
She later ran for vice governor in 1998 and won. She again ran in 2019 and won anew as vice governor.
