PH reggae singer Kokoi Baldo dies in road accident
MANILA, Philippines: Popular Reggae singer Kokoi Baldo, Juan Manuel Ubaldo in real life, died in a vehicular accident in Bacolod City early Friday morning.
Ubaldo, 44, was trying to overtake a vehicle in front of him along the Circumferential Road in Barangay Mandalagan at 1:30 a.m. on Friday when he lost control of his motorcycle and was run over by a 10-wheeler truck carrying sugarcane that caused his death.

The truck driver has been detained.
