Philfoodex, UnionBank team up for 16th Philippine Food Expo
RECOGNIZING the need to boost local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage industry, the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (Philfoodex) Inc. renews its partnership with the UnionBank of the Philippines (UnionBank) for the 16th Philippine Food Expo set to happen at the World Trade Center Metro Manila from April 12 to 14.
Through the partnership, local food processors, exporters and MSMEs can benefit from financial opportunities and access to a wide range of online banking services, such as hassle-free digital onboarding, account management, money transfer and banking security.
UnionBank Institutional Segment Marketing head Dino Velasco said: «What makes this collaboration promising is the shared mission between our organizations. The Philippine Food Expo, much like UB Negosyante, is committed to nurturing the expansion of SMEs, equipping them with the essential support and resources required to thrive in this competitive environment.»
Velasco said the innovations extended by both organizations to the exhibitors will help enhance efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness within the agri-food sector by assisting them to adapt to market trends both locally and abroad.
