PNP: No reported threats so far to Undas 2023
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 1) — The observation of Undas 2023 has been generally peaceful so far as authorities have yet to receive any threats, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Wednesday.
"So far, wala tayong natatanggap [na reports of threats]. Tuloy-tuloy ang monitoring natin," PNP chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. told reporters.
[Translation: So far, we have not received any report of threats but we will continue to monitor the security.]
Acorda added that security forces are most likely on heightened alert until Thursday, but added that he will leave the discretion of personnel deployment to the area commanders.

Acorda said some security personnel were also deployed to transportation hubs to monitor the Undas rush despite a decrease in the volume of travelers as some already went to their provinces to participate in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on Monday.
