CONFIRMATION OF THE AD INTERIM APPOINTMENTS OF 15 FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICIALS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (DFA)

The dignified men and women of the Department of Foreign Affairs perform a noble role of magnifying the marvels and excellence of the Philippines. In advancing our country's interests in the field of foreign relations, the best and the brightest minds of our DFA colleagues dominate.

The present batch of our foreign service diplomats who are with us today belongs to the DFA's circle of eminence. And it is with great pride that I join this august chamber in confirming their appointments.

Ang Pilipinas ay tanyag sa kanyang angking karakter na mapag-aruga sa kanyang mamamayan. Kung kaya't saan mang dako ng mundo, ang Pilipino ay makakasiguro sa pagbabantay sa kanyang seguridad at kapakanan na nagmumula sa embahada ng Pilipinas sa iba't ibang bansa sa buong daigdig.

I warmly congratulate our distinguished diplomats from the Department of Foreign Affairs. The road ahead may be filled with difficulties and trials, but with your determination and faith, the global mission for our kababayans will be victorious.
