Quezon City Public Library resumes free Japanese language classes

MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) has relaunched its offering of free online basic Japanese language classes for 2024.

In a Facebook post, the library said that its basic Japanese language classes will be held once a month spanning February 19 to December 9. The classes will be delivered through videoconferencing platform Zoom.

The first class will start on February 19 and will last two hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The library’s language program requires participants to be aged 18 and above and to have access to a device (laptop, desktop, or smartphone), a stable internet connection and a Zoom application account.

Registration for the free Japanese language class remains open until February 10 through the library’s provided link.

Due to limited capacity, only the first 500 successful registrants per class will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
