Quiboloy detained in Camp Crame
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday presented Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to the media in Camp Crame where he was detained.
The PNP said Quiboloy surrendered after he was given an ultimatum to turn himself in within 24 hours.
PNP spokesman Colonel Jean Fajardo said negotiations started at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Quiboloy surrendered to the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) at around 5:30 p.m.
Those who surrendered with him were Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Crisente Canada, Syliva Cemañes.
Quiboloy's lawyer Israelito Torreon said the pastor decided to surrender to stop violence in the KOJC compound.
«Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy decided to surrender because he does not want the lawless violence to continue to happen in the KOJC compound,» Torreon said.

Quiboloy is facing charges of child abuse and human trafficking.
He was indicted by a federal grand jury in the US District Court over the Central District of California for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion; conspiracy; and bulk cash smuggling.
