Sarah Geronimo delighted after Tarlac missing dog found way home

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo is delighted that a missing dog in Tarlac has found her way home. 

In her X account, Sarah posted a screenshot from the Animal Kingdom Foundation narrating dog Guin's journey to her home. 

"Welcome back home Guin!! We love you!!" Sarah captioned the post. 

According to the Animal Kingdom Foundation, the dog was missing for 16 days and her adoptive family tirelessly looked for her.

"Last night at around 11:30pm, the Del Rosario Family were awaken by dogs barking and someone knocking on their gate. As soon as they check, they saw Guin. SHE CAME HOME. SHE FOUND HER WAY BACK HOME," the foundation said.  

"Prior to Guin going home, the family received a report that Guin was seen scavenging food. The family rushed to the area and waited 3hrs but Guin was a no show," it added. 

Guin was adopted by the Del Rosario family from the foundation. She was a victim of animal cruelty.

"We thank Del Rosario Family for never giving up on Guin. GUIN IS BACK. BACK TO THE FAMILY WHO SHOWED HER LOVE," the foundation said. 

Last November 2022, Sarah and husband Matteo Guidicelli visited the Animal Kingdom Foundation and they encouraged the public to adopt rescued dogs.
