Shooter in Makati road rage arrested

(UPDATE) THE alleged shooter in the road rage incident that took place inside the EDSA-Ayala Tunnel in Makati City on Tuesday has been arrested, authorities said.

Gerard Raymond Talusan Yu, driver of the black Mercedes-Benz with personalized plate number BCS 77 (real plate number EAP 9670), was accused of shooting at a Toyota Innova going to Alabang at the EDSA-Ayala tunnel that resulted in the death of 65-year-old stay-in driver Aniceto Mateo. Also on board the vehicle were 47-year-old housemaid Marites Valmorio and a 7-year-old Japanese boy.

After being shot, Mateo lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide against several motorcycles.
