SMNI appeals suspension order
SONSHINE Media Network International (SMNI) filed a petition before the Court of Appeals (CA) on Thursday seeking a stop to the 30-day suspension order issued against it by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
In its petition for a temporary restraining order, SMNI, the broadcast media arm of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), led by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, argued that the NTC violated the constitution in ordering the suspension based on a resolution of the House of Representatives.
