After distributing Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) in Dumaguete City in the morning of May 20, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., proceeded to Tacloban City to distribute another set of land titles to 5,060 qualified agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) from different parts of Eastern Visayas in the afternoon of the same day. About 5,438 electronically generated individual CLOAs under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project and 38 more land titles generated under the regular land distribution program of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) covering an aggregate area of 7,974 hectares were handed by the president at the Tacloban City Convention Center.

TAGAYTAY, Cavite — May 30, 2024 — In a significant move to enhance the security of tenure for agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) distributed individual land titles to 42 ARBs in Cavite covering 39 hectares of agricultural land in the municipalities of Magallanes, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, and Silang.Acting upon the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to secure the land tenure of the ARBs, DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III facilitated the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project, funded by the World Bank, which will subdivide collective certificates of land ownership award (CCLOAs) into individual land titles.
