The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Camarines Sur, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP), successfully launched the Agraryo Merkado sa Kampo at the Camarines Sur Provincial Police Office (CSPPO) in Naga City which will enable the members of agrarian cooperatives to sell their products directly to over fifty uniformed personnel every 15th and 30th of the month."This is a demonstration that we in the government are united in helping our farmers," Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Augusto SA. Medina, Jr. said. The initiative is spearheaded by DAR Regional Director Reuben Theodore C. Sindac, based on President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.'s Food for All agenda, which aims to ensure food security across the nation.Sindac said aside from targeting police officers, the CSPPO's strategic, high-traffic location will also attract residents and passersby, broadening the farmers' customer base.
