Ultra Lotto pot to hit P149 million tonight

MANILA, Philippines —The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot is estimated to reach P149 million by tonight’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Melquiades Robles, PCSO general manager and vice chairman of the board, said no one won the P143,502,685.20 jackpot of Tuesday night’s draw, which had the winning combination 57-02-33-27-07-29.

Nine bettors won P120,000 for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The PCSO increased its lotto jackpots up to P126 million starting on June 11 for its Independence Day lotto promotion campaign.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.

The Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
