Yulo, 2 tankers now in Metz camp

MANILA, Philippines —   Gymnast Carlos Yulo and tankers Kayla Sanchez and Jarod Hatch have now been accounted for in the training camp for the Paris Olympics-bound Philippine team in Metz, France.

The three arrived over the weekend and joined the first batch that left the country the week before for a month-long training prior to the competition proper set July 26 to Aug, 11 in the French capital.

They were welcomed by no less than Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino himself.

The Metz training is part of the Nationals’ final preparation before plunging into battle in Paris where they hope to surpass, if not match, the country’s Tokyo Games haul of one gold, two silvers and one bronze.
