294 MILF, MNLF recruits join PNP

ALMOST 300 former members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) have joined the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The 294 recruits, including 39 women, took their oath as regular members before Interior Secretary Benjamin «Benhur» Abalos Jr., who is also the chairman of the National Police Commission (Napolcom), in a ceremony held at the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) headquarters in Parang, Maguindanao on Thursday.
