3 students held for marijuana

MANILA, Philippines — Three students were arrested for allegedly using marijuana in Port Area, Manila on Sunday night.

Carl Lawrence Samson, 18; John Michael Narra, 18, and Michael Angelo Ongco, 19, were arrested by members of the Port Area police community precinct, who caught the teenagers using marijuana along 12th street.

Police recovered six grams of marijuana with a street value of P720.

The suspects face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the city prosecutor’s office.
