Brian Poe-Llamanzares signs deal with California-based media group

MANILA, Philippines: The Oracle Media Group led by Brian Poe-Llamanzares signed a distribution and representation agreement with California's Publicon-Latina Publishing Group (PLPG) with the goal of getting international exposure for more Filipinos.

The agreement between the two groups was sealed following a meeting between Poe-Llamanzares and Vincent Gotti, PLPG deputy editor and group business development executive for Asia, Pacific, and Australia.

Llamanzares-Poe said the two groups worked on the details of the agreement in the past few months and that he is excited to strengthen the presence of «Business Concept Magazine» and «Luxury Trending Magazine» in the Philippines.

«This is a strategic move for our group of companies. With this combination of lifestyle and business magazines, we'll be able to expand our offerings for local customers and increase exposure for local personalities,» he said.

Gotti said the move taps a large Asian base that will effectively make the Philippines a strong regional base for the US-based media group.

«At first, I thought Brian just owned a watch company, but then when I found out he also owns a media group I said 'sure man! Let's do it!'» he said.

Gotti said that the Philippines has a strong social media presence, and including more Filipino personalities on the cover of their international publications would help grow PLPG's digital footprint.

«I'm excited because I believe Oracle Media Group is the perfect Media Partner to expand our distribution in Manila,» he added.

The PLPG operates in 35 markets including US, Colombia, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Italy, France, UK, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Japan and China.

This is the second publication group that Poe-Llamanzares has partnered with recently. Last year he signed a similar agreement with «The Purple Stroke,» a media entity based in Dubai which owns Aspire Magazine.

Oracle Media Group is comprised of Rising Tigers Magazine, Alike Magazine, The Manila Journal, Negosyante News, and Rapid News PH.
