6.7K of 17K takers pass civil engr licensure exams

(UPDATE) A TOTAL of 6,680 of the 17,010 examinees passed this year's Civil Engineering Licensure Examinations (CELE), according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
This year's CELE was held last April 20 and 21 in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila was the top performing university with 84 out of 93 examinees passing the exams.
«The results of examination with respect to twenty (20) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations,» the PRC said in a statement.

Top 10

Ryan Silvester Sy Chan and Cedric Jerome Carlos Donguines from DLSU-Manila bested all examinees, both scoring 94.3 percent. The rest in the top 10 are:

3. Gwyneth Bergado Hermoso – Eastern University State University-Tacloban; Arexcin Ray Caballero Timbal – Bohol Island State University-Tagbiliran (93.6 percent)


4. Marvin Ballecer – Camarines Sur Polytechnic University-Nabua (93.2 percent)
5. Jonas Aldrin Wong Abad – University of Santo Tomas; Jonash Aldrin Caldoza Juntonio – Cebu Technological University-Main (92.95 percent)

6. Francise Angelo de la Rosa Quilatan – Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Lopez (92.9 percent)
7. James Russel Yabut Osorio – Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa (92.55 percent)


8. Michael Lyndon Mañegos Chua – Cebu Institute of Technology-University (91.95 percent)
9. Carlos Bryce Maglaque Artates – University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao (91.9 percent)

10. Sonnie Boy Batanes Balictar – Rizal Technological University; Renz Greg Camargo Ducay – Cebu Technological University; and Lennon Gabrielle Narciso Francisco – Cebu Institute of Technology-University (91.85 percent)
