A feast for the senses and a gift of charity

Morocco Kingdom of Light, in collaboration with Rustan’s  Zenaida Tantoco, recently co-hosted an event titled  An Enchanted Afternoon with Pinky Tobiano, showcasing a new dimension of her tablescaping mastery.

Pinky Tobiano,  a chemist by profession, philanthropist, social media influencer, and the Queen of Tablescaping, meticulously curated five table settings with enchanting Moroccan themes that left an impression on guests, both local and international, during the recent charitable tablescaping event held at Rustan’s Makati.

Pinky’s creative genius was evident as she seamlessly integrated Moroccan furniture, tables, chairs, plates, glasses, bowls, table runners, and decorative accents to transport attendees into the heart of Morocco. She featured vibrant mosaic Zellige tables, handmade in Morocco from unrefined clay, meticulously crafted through hand-kneading and kiln-firing, suitable for enhancing gardens and terraces with an added touch of charm.

The event also showcased Serghini porcelain tea sets for six, complete with teapots and serving trays, along with a 30-piece Serghini set and a Moroccan dinnerware collection for 12, among other Moroccan-inspired items.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the event, Emirates Airlines will be raffling off a round-trip business class ticket for two to Morocco on January 11, 2024.

Recognizing Pinky’s extraordinary talent, Rustan’s enlisted her as an influencer for the brand during the pandemic. The event drew several notable personalities, including Rustan’s  Nedy Tantoco, Patrick Jacinto, former Miss Universe  Margie Moran, beauty queen  Bianca Manalo, former Ilocos Sur Gov.  Chavit Singson, actress  Nadine Samonte, TV journalist  Marie Lozano, and renowned hairdresser  Bambbi Fuentes.

Pinky’s daughters,  Karrel  and  Pianne Sinfuego, graced the event with their presence, alongside distinguished guests such as  Malou Martinez, Roxanne Farillas, Ferdie Salvador, Anna Magkawas, Techie Hagedorn, Dong Ronquillo,  and  Gerry Sy.

The event’s benevolent spirit was exemplified by its commitment to donate five percent of the proceeds from the first month of Moroccan items on display to support the victims of the recent
