CABC Boysen Cup 2023 kicks off today | The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) Boysen Cup 2023 gets underway today at the Benedicto College-Cebu City Campus gym.

Six teams will slug it out for hardcourt supremacy in the two-month tilt bankrolled by Boysen through its marketing executive Miggy Aparri.

“More than promoting our product, we want to foster camaraderie in the architects community here in Cebu that is why we fully support this kind of endeavor,” said Aparri in a press conference at the Club Filipino de Cebu clubhouse in FGU-Ayala Center.

The title contenders are the Boysen Permacoat, Boysen Knoxout, Konstrukt, Nation Paints, Virtuoso Silk Touch, and Titan Superflex Elastomeric Paint.

They will play a single round robin in the elimination.

The top four will advance to the semifinals, with the top two qualifiers enjoying twicet-to-beat advantage over the lower-ranked squads.
