DARR02 equips 24 personnel with supervisory and leadership training

A total of twenty-four (24) Division Chiefs (DCs), Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officers (MARPOs), Assistant DCs, Section Chiefs from the Department of Agrarian Reform Cagayan Valley (DARR02) successfully completed the mandatory requirements of the Supervisory Management Program Phases I and III (SMP Phases 1&3).

On December 09, 2022, the 24 personnel converged at the Hotel Roma, Tuguegarao City to personally receive the Certificate of Completion during the SDP Integration cum Graduation Ceremony.

Officer-in-Charge Regional Agrarian Reform Adjudicator (OIC-RARAD) Raul R. Tobias conferred the 24 graduates who finished 40 hours of learning and development intervention conducted by Agrarian Reform Capacity Development Service (ARCDS), Central Office.

Selected graduates were asked to give their insights and impressions throughout their SMP journey.

“Para sa akin ang ibig sabihin ng SMP ay S para sa Serbisyo, M para sa Manager, at P para sa Public Officer. Sa departamento natin, dapat lagi nating isa puso ang ating mga serbisyo. Samantala, ang isang manager kailangan may angkop na kaalaman sa pagpla-plano, pag-oorganisa, pagdidirekta, at komunikasyon. Ang isang Public Officer naman ay dapat makapagbigay ng serbisyong may responsabilidad, integridad, katapatan, kahusayan at maging makabayan.” Atty. Caridad Grade T. Turqueza said.

On the other hand, OIC-PARPO I Venelyn T. Mabunga uttered "Sana magkaroon pa tayo ng mga ganitong programa sa hinaharap dahil napakarami kong natutunan dito sa SMP. Nagpapaabot ng pasasalamat sa management para sa mga pagkakataong makasali sa mga gantong uri ng seminar."

Meanwhile, SARPO Richard T. Francisco said “The Supervisory Management Program has provided many knowledge, learnings, and wisdom, specifically the topic on leading change. To my co-graduates, happy graduation and God bless!”

"Ito na yung pinakahihintay nating Graduation Ceremony, I hope na yung mga natutunan natin dito sa Supervisory Management Program ay ma-apply natin sa ating mga trabaho para sa kapakanan ng ating ahensya", according to Engr. Rosendo M. Soriano.
