DMW: Pre-registration required for Isabela job fair

THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) yesterday reminded individuals looking to work in Taiwan to pre-register for the Migrant Workers Day job fair set on June 7 at the Ilagan Community Center in Ilagan City, Isabela.

In a social media post, the DMW said prospective OFWs have until today, Wednesday, to register for the event on Friday, where more than 2,000 job vacancies in Taiwan will be up for grabs.

“Applicants or OFWs, who are interested in applying for overseas employment in the Migrant Workers’ Day Job Fair, are requested to pre-register for the event,” said the DMW.

In pre-registering, the Department said applicants who are considering overseas employment for the first time may log on to the link: https://forms.gle/hvqXXVWypLFEhDB17.

The DMW said individuals/OFWs who already have a DMW E-Registration Account may pre-register by using their e-registration accounts.

“Once registered, your selected Philippine recruitment agency shall contact you and guide you for your next steps,” noted the DMW.

For the one-day job fair in Isabela, the DMW said applicants must bring a valid Philippine passport; the Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID) or PSA National ID; SSS Certification of Membership; PSA Birth Certificate; 2 pcs of 2×2 recent colored picture; employment certificates (if any); diploma or certificate of highest education attained; a transcript of records (if any); printed Worker’s Information Sheet from the E- Registration Account; PEOS Certificate (from https://peos.dmw.gov.p h); and copy of Taiwan ARC or NHI Card (for ex-Taiwan OFWs).

Last Sunday, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) announced the holding of a special one-day job fair in Isabela on June 7.

MECO said that 12 Taiwanese employers, recruitment agencies, and university officials will fly to Ilagan City to offer more than 2,000 job vacancies in Taiwan.
