DPWH conducts weekend road reblocking, repairs
THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct weekend road repair and reblocking on 20 major roads around Metro Manila starting Friday, night
The following roads will be affect
1. C-5 ROAD Northbound Lane 2, Pasig City
2. C-5 to Korean Embassy Southbound 3rd lane, Makati City
3. C-3 ROAD Eastbound, Between C. Cordero to Rizal Ave. (4th lane from sidewalk), Caloocan
4. C-3 ROAD Eastbound, Between Rizal Ave. to M. H Del Pilar St. (3rd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
5. EDSA Northbound, Between Don Vicente Ang to Gen. Evangelista (2nd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
6. EDSA Taft Avenue Northbound to MRT Station (4th lane), Pasay City
7. EDSA Annapolis Northbound to Connecticut (Outer lane), San Juan City
8. Taft Avenue and corner Pedro Gil St. (3rd lanes for Northbound and Southbound), Manila City
9. EDSA Southbound after Malibay Bridge (Outer lane), Pasay City
10. Mindanao Ave. Southbound, after U-Turn to after Mindanao Ave. Tunnel, (1st and 3rd lane from center and service road, Outer Lane), Quezon City
11. A. Bonifacio Ave. Northbound, corner Sgt. Rivera Street (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
12. Commonwealth Ave. Northbound, B. Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
13. Commonwealth Ave. Northbound, Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (6th lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
14. C-5 Road Southbound, After Magsaysay Ave. near U- Turn Slot, Quezon City
15. C-5 Road Southbound, after Magsaysay Ave., Quezon City
16. C-5 Road Southbound, after C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection, Quezon City
17. Commonwealth Ave. Southbound, From Shell Gas Station to Zuzuaregue Street (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
18. Rizal Ave. Exit Northbound, between 11th Ave. and Bustamante St. (2nd lane), Caloocan City
19. C-5 Road, E. Mejia Street near C-5 Service Road along C-5 Service Road near E. Mejia Street, along C-5 Road near Casa Verde, Pasig City
20. Mc Arthur Highway Northbound, Malabon City
The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, October 2.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reminded motorists to take alternative routes.
