Falcons catch Fil-Am twins

MANILA, Philippines — Adamson is off to a flying start in its preparations for a new era without “King Falcon” Jerom Lastimosa.

The Soaring Falcons, after missing the UAAP Final Four last season, landed prized Filipino-American recruits Cade and Austin Ronzone from Arizona State University. They will be eligible to play in Season 87.

Sons of renowned international basketball agent Tony Ronzone – the handler of Filipino sensation Kai Sotto – the twins were officially welcomed yesterday at the Adamson campus with Lastimosa in attendance.

Cade played point guard while Austin was an off guard for the Sun Devils in the US NCAA Division I. Both standing 6-foot-2, they played with another Fil-Am stalwart Remy Martin in Arizona State.
