GAM3 Awards 2024: Finalists Announced for $5M Prize Pool

Get ready, gamers! The eagerly awaited GAM3 Awards are back for their third year, and this year’s event promises to be bigger than ever. This year’s celebration of web3 gaming offers more game developments, additional award categories, and, for the first time, a physical ceremony alongside the live stream. Last year, over 50,000 viewers tuned in, and this year is expected to draw even more attention.

GAM3S.GG has joined forces with Yield Guild Games (YGG) — which is one of the largest web3 gamer communities — to bring the GAM3 awards to a physical audience for the first time. The ceremony will take place in the Philippines and be broadcast live from the YGG Play Summit, reflecting the nation’s crucial role in the web3 gaming space. With many of the industry’s early adopters and most passionate players based in the Philippines, this event will be a milestone for the region.

YGG Co-Founder Gabby Dizon suggested that it’s one of the most popular web3 gaming consumer events of 2024. Focusing on gamers first and foremost, Dizon added that this is one of the reasons they are so excited to host the 2024 GAM3 Awards in Manila, where the real players of all the hottest web3 games will attend and vote and cheer for their favorite titles.

In addition to YGG, GAM3S.GG has teamed up with Arbitrum, Magic Eden, Immutable, Avalanche, and Skale to ensure this year’s awards surpass the previous ones in scope and spectacle.

Launched in 2022, the GAM3 Awards quickly became an important event in the blockchain gaming world, recognizing the best games and creators each year. In 2023, over 450,000 votes were cast by 50,000 unique voters, emphasizing the community’s significant role in the selection process.
