Go vows continued support for education

SEN. Bong Go assured college graduates of his continued support for programs that would enhance the education system. The senator made the promise on June 29 when he attended the commencement exercises of the Davao Oriental State University (Dorsu) in Mati City, Davao Oriental, as their guest of honor and speaker.

«I will push for necessary programs to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed,» Go said in a speech. He lauded the graduates for their dedication and hard work, emphasizing the significance of their academic journey.

«You should all congratulate yourselves for reaching this far. You have each faced and overcome your unique challenges,» Go said. The 1,516 graduates came from various faculties, including the Graduate School, Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Data Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Governance, Business and Management, Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of Teacher Education.

Go also highlighted the role of the parents or their guardians in supporting their goal to achieve a college degree. He praised the faculty and the entire Dorsu community for their commitment to education. The senator urged the graduates to continue learning, saying that learning does not stop at graduation.
