Govt infra spending hits P107.3B in October

GOVERNMENT infrastructure spending reached P107.3 billion in October last year, latest data from the Budget department showed, 75.2 percent higher than the year-earlier P61.2 billion.

The substantial increase was said to be largely due to disbursements of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along with releases for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) modernization program.
