Influenza-like illnesses down 19% in Jan

MANILA, Philippines: Cases of influenza-like illnesses (ILI) in the country decreased by 19 percent and the downward trend is expected to continue over the next month, according to the Department of Health (DoH).

As of Friday, a total of 16,155 ILI cases were reported from Jan. 1 to Feb. 3, 2024, which is 19 percent lower compared to 19,935 ILI cases during the same period in 2023.
