Love conquers all: A spectacular wedding extravaganza uniting Brandon and Meryl

In a celebration of love that resonated with the country’s business elite and influencers, Bran Aw and Meryl Nolasco’s wedding was an epic event curated by no less than the groom’s mother and the couple.

Brandon Jon Limpe-Aw, the youngest scion of Destileria Limtuaco’s Olivia Limpe-Aw and Benny Aw, sealed his four-year romance with Meryl Christine S. Nolasco in a ceremony that both described as challenging yet profoundly worthwhile. Meryl reflected, “It was never easy, but a love worthwhile,” to which Bran added, “I find your ability to tolerate me amusing because not everyone can handle someone like me. Despite our stubborn moments and highs and lows, I found my perfect companion!”

As a member of the sixth generation of the country’s oldest distillery, Bran, the national sales manager and a professional DJ, is known as a “party animal.” The wedding procession, lasting 15 minutes, featured eight pairs of godparents, 13 pairs of entourage, and eight bearers and flower girls.

The reception was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Grand Ballroom, with foyers transformed into a grand picnic and festive setup. Bran’s Pub, a working bar crafted by the Destileria Limtuaco team, served special cocktails throughout the night. Meryl’s Café, a coffee cart by Fatseed Café + Roastery and a Magazine Box by Signarama, kept cameras clicking. Grand Hyatt’s grazing table and Prifoods’ Snackers’ chips accompanied the libations, while guests were seated comfortably at picnic tables and serenaded by the Skills band.

The Chinese lauriat, a collaboration of Grand Hyatt Manila and Destileria Limtuaco, showcased a fusion of authentic Chinese culinary masterpieces and the company’s Philippine Craft Spirits Line, creating a symphony of flavors that left guests in awe.

The full program, seamlessly executed, was fun and surprise-filled, ensuring guests were entertained and happy throughout the evening. Over 200 guests continued to party till 1 a.m., with three of the country’s top wedding DJs — Rammy Bitong, Migs Santillan, and the groom himself — spinning tunes with Hypeman MC Ron Thug.

The festivities continued at the Loft Kitchen till 4 a.m. with DJ Aryan Magat and Recovery Food, ensuring the
