Luis Manzano's 'It's Your Lucky Day' replaces 'It's Showtime' while suspended

MANILA, Philippines — Luis Manzano's game and variety show "It's Your Lucky Day" will replace "It's Showtime" while the popular noontime show serves its 12-day suspension starting this Saturday.

In a statement released yesterday, ABS-CBN said that Luis will be joined by Robi Domingo, Jennica Garcia and Melai Cantiveros in the show.

It’s Your Lucky Day'," it added.

According to reports, the show will be also joined by Kapamilya young stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri and Seth Fedelin.

Comedians Negi, Long Mejia, Petite and Divine Tetay will also join the show.

ABS-CBN announced earlier this week that they will not appeal the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) suspension for "It's Showtime.”

“We respect the authority of MTRCB, but we humbly maintain that the program did not break any pertinent law. Our heartfelt thanks to our viewers for their unwavering love and support for 'It's Showtime,' which will return on October 28 stronger and better than ever,” ABS-CBN said.
