Man wanted for 72 child abuse, sex raps falls

MANILA, Philippines — The third most wanted fugitive in Quezon City, who is facing at least 72 child abuse and sex-related offenses, was arrested by police on Tuesday.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said Delfin Dolatre was arrested in Barangay Del Monte at around 2:30 p.m.

Dolatre was collared based on a warrant of arrest for violating Republic Act 7610, the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

Maranan said Dolatre is also facing 54 counts of lascivious conduct, 11 counts of acts of lasciviousness and seven counts of sexual assault before two Quezon City courts.

Dolatre was among six people with standing arrest warrants who were arrested by the QCPD on Tuesday.
