'Mayo Uno 6' pansamantalang nakalaya matapos arestuhin sa Labor Day rally | Pilipino Star Ngayon

"We maintain that their arrest and detainment is unjust. The protest was peaceful until police escalated the situation by hitting protesters with shields and batons until they were arrested," sabi ng Kilusang Mayo Uno kanina.

"To protest for national sovereignty, humane working conditions, and higher wages is justified. By arresting the 6 youth activists, the state lays bare where its allegiances lie: with the US, China, and with big capitalists–foreign and local–who exploit workers. Marcos Jr., as head if the state, is accountable for the police's actions." — may mga ulaat mula kay Ian Laqui
