More schools across PH shift to alternative mode of learning
MANILA, Philippines: More public schools have declared a shift to alternative delivery mode (ADM) due to the hot weather, according to the Department of Education.
From 5,844 schools on Thursday, the number has risen to 7,080 out of the 46,678 schools across the country.
Central Luzon topped the list with 1,903, followed by Central Visayas at 870, Western Visayas at 862, Ilocos Region at 713, Bicol Region at 664, and Socsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos City) with 488 schools.
At least 311 schools from 306 have shifted to ADM in the National Capital Region (NCR) as of Friday.
The Caraga Region has not declared any class suspensions.
