'Nag-ipon ako ng 10 taon': Ryan Bang shares secrets to business success

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya host Ryan Bang shared how he became a succesful businessman. 

At the recent opening of his first fine-dining Korean restaurant Paldo, Philstar.com asked Ryan what's his secret to success. 

“Nag-iipon ako s'yempre para sa future. Nag-ipon ako ng 10 taon. Siyempre hindi lang puro ako, naghanap po ako ng tao. Importante kasi tao po, 'yung paligid mo,” he said. 

“Nakahanap ako, mayroon akong friend na super magaling na chef na 25 years na siyang chef sa Korea. Mayroon din po akong business partners," he added.

Ryan also noted that it's better to surround yourself with trusted people. 

"Sa loob ng 10 years, importante po 'yung tao na mapagkakatiwalaan mo tapos may kanya-kanyang talent. So nabuo ko po 'yung team ko, sabi ko, parang gusto ko rin parang Korean-style to start here in the Philippines," he said. 

"Yung Filipino company with Korean color. Lahat ng employee po namin Filipinos,” he added.

Ryan's Paldo is his fourth business after the authentic Kimchi business, Korean restaurant Ducup and hair salon, Moridu Art.
