OVP gives gifts, MTD grant

CEBU — The Office of the Vice President (OVP) on December 8 conducted a gift-giving activity and payout of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) to residents in Naga City, Cebu Province.

The OVP Cebu, Bohol, and Siquior Satellite Office led in the distribution of gift packs to over 1,000 members of the LGBTQIA+ community, persons with disabilities and rebel returnees.

The OVP, through the Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day program, also granted a livelihood assistance amounting to P150,000 to the Moalboal Public Market Vendors Association (MOPUMAVA) for its rice trading business.

In another activity, the OVP, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of Labor and Employment, also helped in the distribution of financial assistance to members of the transportation and women sectors.
