After enduring a 13-year struggle with a non-healing leg wound, Renelyn F. Encierto finally found the help that she needed.

Last May 9, 2023, Encierto underwent a peri-implant fracture tibia operation at Southern Isabela Medical Center, a turning point after years of pain.

The Cagayan Valley Satellite Office of the Office of the Vice President assisted her and provided her with a crucial 1-month supply of medicine and a wheelchair to ensure comfortable healing.

Encierto's story is a testament to the commitment of OVP to the promotion of healthcare and access to healthcare services.
