Pacquiao hanga sa husay ni Cruz | Pang-Masa
MANILA, Philippines — Lubos ang paghanga ni eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao sa galing ni Mexican Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz na bahagi ng MP Promotions.
Noong linggo, nasungkit ni Cruz ang World Boxing Association (WBA) Super lightweight belt.
Si Cruz ang unang non-Filipino na itinanghal na world champion na nasa ilalim ng pangangalaga ng MP Promotions.
“So glad to see Mexican Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz rose to the occasion to become a world titleholder under our promotion,” ani Pacquiao.
Matatandaang pumirma si Cruz ng kontrata sa MP Promotions noong 2019.
“He is a testament of a true hardworking warrior, his boxing skills, power and speed are honed by years of his sacrifice in training and learning. The MP Promotions is very proud of his accomplishment,” ani Pacquiao.
Matagumpay na nahuraban ni Cruz ng korona si American Rolando Romero matapos magtala ng eight-round technical knockout victory para makuha ang WBA crown sa T-Mobile Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sinabi ni MP Promotion chief Sean Gibbons na maraming pagkakatulad sina Pacquiao at Cruz.
“When they met, Sir Manny said this gentleman is so humble, he is family man, and he loves spending his time with his kids and wife. He doesn’t smoke, he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t do any bad habits similar to the senators, and both of them are great persons,” ani Gibbons.
