Pasig City's F. Manalo Bridge closed for repair
MANILA, Philippines — The Pasig City government said that the F. Manalo Bridge in Barangay Manggahan will be closed to traffic indefinitely starting Monday, October 7.
The city government said the bridge is scheduled to undergo repair and rehabilitation. The project will be carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Motorists were advised to take alternate routes.
Among the alternate routes are Marcos Highway, for all vehicles; Ortigas Avenue, for all vehicles; Circulo Verde Bridge, passable from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight except for trucks, PUJs, motorcycles, and UV Express.
F. Manalo Bridge was damaged last July during monsoon downpour enhanced by Super Typhoon Carina.
