PRC releases list of new physical therapists

MANILA, Philippines: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,288 out of 1,884 examinees or 68.37 percent of takers passed the December 2023 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.

Ma. Angelica Faye Zapanta dela Victoria, from Riverside College landed the top spot with an 89. 70 percent rating.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, with the total examinees of 113, was the top performing school, with a 98.23 percent passing rate.

Below are the top 10:

1. Ma. Angelica Faye Zapanta dela Victoria, Riverside College, 89. 70 percent;

2. Ma. Barbara Tolentino Manalaysay, University of the Philippines-Manila, 89.40 percent;

3. John Sundiam Ramos, University of Sto. Tomas, 89.35 percent;

4. Anna Nicole Baroquillo Mantuano, University of Sto. Tomas 89.30 percent;

5. Precious Louvelle Noche Carambas, University of Sto. Tomas, 89.05 percent;

6. Claire Chan Bathan, University of the Philippines-Manila, 89 percent;

7. Angel Megumi Son Quiamco, Siliman University, 88.60 percent;

8. Frances Darlene Gamayao Santiago, Our Lady of Fatima University- Valenzuela, 88.35 percent;

9. Rudbert Xyron Muñoz del Rosario, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 88.15 percent;

Kimi Cruz Reyes, San Pedro College-Davao City, 88.15 percent;

10. Ina Blanca Triguero Sadsad, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 88.05 percent.

The exam was administered on December 1-2 at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pampanga and Rosales.
