Rustan's chairman, CEO Nedy Tantoco dies at 77

(UPDATE) ZENAIDA «Nedy» Tantoco, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Rustan Commercial Corp. and Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI), passed away on Thursday night, a few days after reportedly undergoing heart surgery. She was 77.

«Although known in the industry for her astute professionalism, Nedy will always be better remembered as a nurturing force in fostering family empowerment and unity. These, she believed, were key for their family's future generations to thrive,» the Tantoco family said in a statement.
