Sen. Go grateful for positive survey result
SEN. Christopher «Bong» Go thanked the public for their trust after the latest Octa Research senatorial survey placed him at the second to third position with 49.9 percent approval.
«I wholeheartedly thank every Filipino who continues to trust and support me,» Go said in a statement in Filipino.
The survey was conducted from March 11 to 14 among 1,200 respondents.
Go said the public's show of support has inspired him to work harder in finding solutions to the pressing problems besieging the nation.
He placed third to fourth in a similar senatorial survey conducted by Pulse Asia from March 6 to 10, with 44.2 percent approval.
Meanwhile, Go called on the Department of Health to ensure the functionality of Super Health Centers (SHCs) to address health care access gaps in remote areas.
Go raised concerns about the operational challenges of SHCs during a public hearing conducted by the Senate Committee on Health on April 2.
AdvertisementHe said there is a crucial need to build more SHCs in far-flung communities.
There are currently over 700 SHCs nationwide.
